Precious (2009)

Claireece "Precious" Jones is a 16-year-old Harlem teenager, illiterate, violently abused by her mother and pregnant for the second time as a result of rape. When she changes schools, her teacher, Miss Rain, is her guiding light as she embarks on a journey to self-determination and escape the oppression of her home.
