CJ7 (2008)

A struggling Chinese construction worker, Ti, dedicates himself to keeping his son, Dicky, in private school despite their poverty. Dicky longs for a popular toy, but Ti, unable to afford it, discovers a strange orb in a junkyard and gives it to Dicky as a substitute. This orb transforms into a lovable alien creature, called CJ7. As Dicky tries to navigate school pressures and harsh realities, CJ7’s presence teaches them invaluable lessons about resilience and love.
