Davis Mitchell, a successful executive, is going through a tough time when his wife dies tragically in a car accident. While his father-in-law tries to help him through the grief, Davis remains emotionally disconnected and detached. With the assistance of a woman named Karen and her son, he begins to reconfigure his life. Midway between psychological drama and dramatic comedy, Jean-Marc Vallée's film is compelling and features a spectacular performance by Jake Gyllenhaal. Add it to your watch list!
