Offiziere (1986)

Major Leska who has proved himself as an excellent troop officer in a tank battalion in complicated maneuvers. He sees this as a challenge and looks forward to a new task. But then the decision falls in favor of his friend Hans Helbig, who has just graduated from the Military Academy with distinction and was once Leska's subordinate. The conflict erupting between Leska and Hans strains the cooperation and puts their friendship to the test. In an important maneuver they have to prove themselves.
