Il falso bugiardo (2008)

The movie title is taken from a phrase by famous director Pietro Germi, who defined Vincenzoni as a false liar because "he tells incredible stories that later prove to be true". Witnesses of many of Vincenzoni's vicissitudes appear in Il Falso Bugiardo (The False Liar), weaving their testimony into the extensive interview with the writer, reassembling a puzzle of events starting from the war years to the present day, through the history of Italian Cinema and more.
