Crazy Heart (2009)

The film presents the story of Bad Blake, a country music singer who is coming from a difficult professional and personal period, as a result of his addiction to alcohol. His present is bleak when he meets Jean Craddock, a journalist who approaches him for an interview and discovers the man behind the musician. What is at stake in this drama is Blake's ability to overcome and cope with adversity. Jeff Bridges' empathetic and immense performance won him an Oscar for best actor.
