Rocketman (2008)

Rocketman is the story of Jerry Burruss, a blind, black musician who lives in rural isolation just west of Philadelphia, PA. Jerry spent a life time alone, teaching himself to play guitar and dreaming of going to Nashville. The film follows Jerry's life for two years when, at age 70, he is befriended by a carpenter and fellow musician who holds the promise of making Jerry's dreams come true. But the two men come from different worlds and sparks fly as they struggle with the realities Jerry's limitations.
