"1983 - Mrs Evita Bezuidenhout is the South African Ambassador in the Independent Black Homeland Republic of Bapetikosweti. Her Embassy, Blanche-Noir, is situated close to the glittering casino-hotel of Lunaville where her daughter Billie-Jeanne is a showgirl-dancer. Sophie, the faithful maid, is in charge of the house as the entire family is somewhere else, with the exception of De Kock who has decided to run away and join the ballet company in Pretoria. But the long arm of the law gets in the way. Sersant Uys arrives with a big fat file filled with terrible truths, as well as proof that the First Family of Bapetikosweti have secrets that could destroy the very fabric of South African society. Sophie and De Kock try and divert the attention of the law with hilarious and often shocking results."
