The Mother (2009)

Sonia (45) and Jonatan (18), mother and son, share the house. The husband is absent - he has left, and attempts to find him are not successful. The son could also leave at any moment. The anxiety felt by the mother distorts her perception. Sonia drinks, gets drunk, talks in her sleep and realizes she is capable of dangerous things while inebriated. Jonatan feels responsible and takes care of her. If the drunken episodes recur, and the mother becomes more and more fragile and vulnerable, will the son be able to leave?
