Maherchi Maya (2007)

Widower Appasaheb Deshmukh lives a wealthy lifestyle in Kolhapur along with his married son, Vilas, his wife, Madhuri, and their son, Sachin; and a daughter, Nandini. Madhuri proposes that Nandini get married to her brother, Dr. Sagar, which is well received by both Vilas and his dad. When asked, Sagar also approves of this alliance. But Nandini refuses to get married to Sagar and wants to gets married to Milind Desai, who she has fallen in love with. A reluctant Appasaheb arranges their marriage, the couple settle down to a harmonious lifestyle in Milind's house, which is occupied by his widowed mother; a sister, Nimmi, and her husband, Vyanku. The couple are blessed with a son, and they name him Soham. Tragedy visits when Appasaheb passes away, leaving Nandini to deal with a nightmare that will transform her life forever.
