The Land of Refuge (2008)

The story of the polygamous families who fled the U.S. in the late 1800's to avoid arrest and imprisonment. The film reveals their overwhelming struggles as they carved out a land of refuge in the desert of northern Mexico only to be driven from their lavish homes and thriving communities by the Mexican revolutionaries a few decades later.
