Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011)

Set in the Cold War, the story focuses on a veteran spy, George Smiley, who is forced to put his retirement on hold to uncover a soviet infiltrator in the ranks of MI6. To do so, he must investigate former colleagues, but the assignment proves to be more complex than it seems. This intelligent spy thriller based on a novel by John Le Carré builds a tense and slow-paced atmosphere thanks to its visuals and acting, an exceptional cast led by Gary Oldman.
