Seventeen-year-old girl out of Iwate in Northern japan is not just any high school girl coming to Tokyo for her summer break. She is an apprentice witch travelling to learn and improve her skills and magic. It was never going to be easy, however, and along the way there are problems, illness, labour, clashes and a boy.
