Green Fields

A fiction film based on the acclaimed documentary feature film: "Yiddish Theater: A Love Story" telling the story of a magical relationship between a young actress starring in her first off Broadway play and an aging Yiddish diva fighting to keep her Yiddish play alive after getting amazing reviews but not enough audience to keep it going. Through the eyes of the young actress we learn about the meaning of being an actress in Off Broadway today, about preserving an old art form like Yiddish theater and about the meaning of chasing your dreams to their limits.
