Ruma Maida (2009)

For two years, Maida, an idealistic clumsy girl, has been running a school for street children in an abandoned old building. She turns the inside of the run-down building into a palace of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The tables and chairs are carved from waste wood. Class equipment are recycled from used goods. Then, a businessman buys the land and wants to turn it into a business center. Maida and her illegal school are told to leave. In her struggle, Maida uncovers the mystery and the history of the old building. The building was the scene of a tragic love story between a pilot and a singer during the nationalism movement and Indonesia's independence.
