Dot com (2008)

This short film is an experimental animation exploring the possible use of modern technology to create new persona. It depicts an agoraphobic young woman who is physically disfigured. This disfigurement leads to an emotional instability that caused her to descend into an increasingly intense & fragile fantasy world. To help her feel less isolated she was then given a computer by her social worker. After which she visits a matchmaking site where she starts a cyber romance with a man , remaking herself as a sexy and beautiful exotic dancer. They both fantasize madly about each other and fall in love on line. When the man finally discovers the truth about her affliction he is horrified and retaliates cruelly. This breaks her heart and dramatically changes her and her way of life.
