Bonsai (2009)

A large solitary man tends a bonsai plant. Later, walking down a street, as he lights a cigarette, he sees a woman seated in a garden washing her clothes. He returns home and contemplates his size - he has a large belly. Does he stand a chance with her? He exercises. He sits and thinks, he smokes, he flexes. Is it time to try to seize the day?
