Aquaman (2018)

Directed by James Wan, one of the greatest masters of contemporary horror, Aquaman follows the story of Arthur Curry, who is a half-human, half-Atlantean. When his brother Orm plans a war against the surface world, Arthur must accept his role as rightful heir to the throne of Atlantis and prevent the destruction of the planet. Aquaman is known for its impressive visual effects and Wan's firm direction, which uses his expertise in horror to create tension in the battles. Jason Momoa plays the lead role, and the cast also includes Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, and Nicole Kidman.
