Behind Dead Creek (2010)

BEHIND DEAD CREEK is a documentary about an Australia Aboriginal short drama called DEAD CREEK. DEAD CREEK was the writing and directorial debut for indigenous filmmaker Benjamin Southwell. The entire cast and crew were indigenous Australians or New Zealanders. The shoot took place in the lush and spiritual Gold Coast hinterlands in Queensland, Australia. This documentary shows how the shoot came together with behind the scenes interviews and footage of the film shoot. BEHIND DEAD CREEK shows how all the pieces fell into place to make this fantastic indigenous thriller set against the backdrop of Queensland's gorgeous rain forests and waterfalls.
