Hannah's Story (2010)

Hannah's father is paralyzed; where her mother lives is anybody's guess. The Chinese girl dropped out of school to care for her dad when his paralysis worsened, claiming more and more abilities. Together with Hannah's brother, they are moving into an orphanage just to survive--without help, her father says, they'd starve. In the process, Hannah meets an unlikely pair of California travelers. Bring Me Hope travelers. Hannah arrives at camp with nothing--not even a toothbrush. During her week with Bring Me Hope, she experiences one first after another: Shopping, for example. And five worry-free childhood days. But the story doesn't end on the last day of camp--Hannah's California friends follow her home. With camera and the will to love, they will help change her life.
