A dark comedy about the Vickery family as they come together to rally around 12-year-old Tommy after a tragic baseball accident caused by his fraternal twin brother Greg, leaves him brain damaged and dependent on his family for his every need. The story picks up six years after the accident as the family re-examines the very distinct choices they've made and the secrets they've kept for themselves in order to survive.
