Schatten der Helden (1960)

Hungary, WW2: Communist couple Laszlo and Julia fight the Nazis, are arrested. After the war Laszlo becomes interior secretary but is denounced under false pretenses and executed. Julia's open protest helps trigger the revolution of 1956.
