South Solitary (2010)

In 1927, Meredith Appleton (Miranda Otto) arrives on the remote island of South Solitary with her lighthouse keeper uncle, George Wadsworth (Barry Otto). Determined to make the best of the isolated setting, she soon finds herself at odds with the harsh weather and unexpected misfortunes. When circumstances leave her stranded on the desolate island with the enigmatic assistant keeper, Fleet (Marton Csokas), the two are forced to rely on each other. As they navigate their isolation, they discover they have more in common than they first imagined.
