Pennam Kolkata is a story of Gobar and Padma who come to Kolkata from the village of Bunojhalta in search of Gobar's elder brother. The big and beautiful city seems attractive in the beginning but slowly they are exposed to the corruption and evil side of the city.It disillusions them and they decide to go back to their village.
