V Parizh! (2009)

Soviet youngster Alexey communicates with a fellow radiofan from France and makes big plans for his future. His hardworking blue-collar father Ivan is getting ready to join The Communist Party. Everything changes when Ivan's girlfriend is falsely accused in defalcation. Ivan decides to get the money by any means to help his beloved avoid the incarceration. He lets Alexey into his plans, and that triggers a chain of tragic events in this USSR-set drama. Loosely based on real events.
