Varla Jean and the Mushroomheads (2011)

Varla Jean and the Mushroomheads is a film based on Roberson and Jacques Lamarre's fake kids' show that has been performed in New Orleans, San Francisco and Provincetown, Mass., and was released in 2011. An alcoholic Varla, tricks a couple into paying for her to be a surrogate mother in order to gather the money needed to produce an inappropriate children's TV show.
