AyA (2010)

AyA is the story of a Japanese man searching for a way to cope with the death of his wife. His grief is made more complicated by how the incident has impacted his relationship with his daughter, Aya. Struggling with concern for her but also experiencing pervasive moods of anger and loneliness, his feelings toward Aya have taken on a dangerous edge. And so out of fear for where he is headed, he turns to the only place he can safely express his darkest thoughts... his imagination.
