Whiz Kids

The friendship of two grade-school boys - one white kid, one black kid - in 1950 Philadelphia plays out against the bigotry of the time, the toll on their families of the war in Korea, and a dramatic pennant chase between the Phillies (baseball's "Whiz Kids") and Jackie Robinson's Dodgers.
