Some friendships last only a moment in time. Others can weather the storms of a lifetime. Periods of Rain follows the lives of six college friends as they navigate real life issues of gender identity, alcoholism, sexual abuse, inter-racial and inter-faith relationship, social class and overcoming troubles of the past.
