In Season 3, two Nazi officers watch while a Nazi soldier pulls a crying little girl away from her mother's arms and shoots the mother in the head in front of the child. He tries to shoot the girl too, but his gun jams. So he grabs the terrified girl by the hand and foot, spins her around several times, and then slams her headfirst into a brick wall. The camera cuts away just before she hits the wall.
Several people experience various forms of torture during the series, including beatings and electrocution. Bloody injuries, scars, and swelling are shown.
S01 E1-LEVEL OF VIOLENCE: (6,5/10) There is a shooting scene at the start with some blood spurts but not very graphic. A character is gunned down offscreen. There is a somewhat disturbing torture scene in which a man is hit multiple times with a whip before the camera cuts away, the marked dead body of the man is later seen.
S01 E2-LEVEL OF VIOLENCE: (7/10) There's a intense shooting scene in this episode where a man gets suddenly shot in a realistic manner by many bullets, however the violence doesn't get too extreme here. Another scene shows a man in prison getting beat by the guards and then taking him offscreen to be beaten even more.
S01 E3-LEVEL OF VIOLENCE: (7/10) A man gets killed offscreen and we later see him hanging from a rope with his fingers chopped off. Then is revealed that the killer collects the fingers of their victims, quite disturbing. A man who fell from a large cliff is shown dead with blood on his head. In another scene, a man is punched multiple times but the scene quickly cuts.
S01 E4-LEVEL OF VIOLENCE: (6/10) This episode is tamer in terms of violence, only containing some shootings with mild blood and a scene where a man knocks out another very quickly.
S01 E5-LEVEL OF VIOLENCE (8/10) In a tradictional ritual, a man stabs himself in the chest with a knife followed by another man decapitating him in a shocking way. The severed head is then seen for a few seconds. One of the bloodiest scenes in the show. Besides this quite bloody scene the rest of the episode has no violence.
S01 E6-LEVEL OF VIOLENCE: (1/10) This episode has practically no violence at all, besides some tension and two persons having an argument.
S01 E7-LEVEL OF VIOLENCE: (6/10) At the end of the episode there are some disturbing shots of dead bodies piled up in holes, but besides that there's nothing else.
S01 E8-LEVEL OF VIOLENCE: (2/10) The only violence shown in this episode is a dead man with no blood or gore shown.
S01 E9-LEVEL OF VIOLENCE: (6,5/10) A man pushes another man over the edge of a high building, however the dead body is not shown. In another scene, a man shoots two yakuza members with a gun, average blood.
S01 E10-LEVEL OF VIOLENCE: (7/10) In the intro there are some grisly images of people getting executed with a shot in the head, but it's supposed to be a tape so it's black and white. In another scene, the japanese police shoot a man in the head and the aftermath is shown. There are also some brief shootings and a scene where a man shoots himself in the head but the camera cuts away quick.
Season 1
A group of people are shot; there is blood. People are shot offscreen. Person is tied up and beaten, mainly offscreen.
A man is beaten in prison. A group of people are in a gun battle and there are several individuals shot.
A man identifies the bodies of his sister and her children. While it is not gruesome, it is quite emotional. Graphic pictures of shooting victims. A marshal kills and hangs a man. There is an intense gun battle at the end.
