Men from Nowhere (2011)

A biographical journey that spans a century. A heartbroken man's exploration of the relationship between him and his father, a French holocaust survivor with PTSD. Filmed over seven years in America and France, this DIY bricolage memoir, shot in low-budget cinema verite style, uses footage from multiple formats and mediums, including camcorders, point and shoot cameras with movie-mode, photographs and voicemails.
