Docu-drama about the great Danish theologian N.F.S. Grundtvig, illuminated through a series of episodes with the women who were so crucial to Grundtvig's personal attitudes and to his worldview. He wrote: "Experience has taught me [that] everything that must really go right to our hearts must go through the woman to us."
