The Clockman (2011)

The Clockman and the Mermaid is the story of Bill Willams of Colyton, New Zealand. His obsession with clocks is so great, he has beaten the Guiness Book of World Records for individual collections. As his collection approaches 3,000 clocks, Bill is running out of room but can't stop his passion for timepieces. The Clockman and the Mermaid is a short portrait of obsession and what it means to be a collector. It is also a portrait of what it is to live in small town New Zealand, in a place that time forgot.
