Megan is a tired and unappreciated junior doctor working in the emergency department of a small, rural hospital. Paul, an arrogant surgeon, adds to her insecurity by treating her as an afterthought. A mysterious trauma patient arrives, whose presence makes those nearby feel ill and act strangely.
