The Boys of the Lough, the first professional Celtic folk band to travel the U.S., heads out on their 68th cross-country American tour; Struggling with aging band members, appeasing younger members, and a fading fan base, they must find a way to continue touring and preserving their unique type of music. At its height Celtic music was considered cool, hip, and rebellious. Fast-forward 40 years and the Boys of the Lough are no longer considered cutting edge. Their music is now thought of as a performing art, meaning older crowds and smaller revenues. The band's members have tried to weather these changes forcing each into their own internal conflict over what sacrifices they will make to play the music they love.
