In Defence of the Chocolate Soldier (1995)

Documentary about racism in the American army, looking at the real-life story of Leroy Henry, a black GI who was sentenced to death for allegedly raping a white woman whilst stationed in Combe Down near Bath in 1944. Includes testimony from the trial, archive footage and extracts from "The Life and Death of a Buffalo Soldier", a play based on the incident.
