Vai-Vai: 80 Anos nas Ruas (2011)

A film about people; their stories about samba in the megalopolis of São Paulo. What is "samba for real" and what makes it so special; told in a different approach focused on the brazilian society. In a unique combination of classical and popular music, the samba school musicians play Beethoven's 5th with an orchestra. Vibrant images of the street rehearsals, an improbable "marriage" between descendants of Italians and Africans, was born a nation passionate for what lives for.
