Noche sin fortuna (2011)

Andrés Caicedo, the mythic Colombian writer, decides to take his life on March 4, 1977, at the age of twenty five, the very same day he receives a copy of his first published novel. Unfortunate night investigates the life and work of this author and the close relationship that links them. An unfinished portrait is woven through a variety of levels of discourse (interviews, animation, found footage, voice over); an intimate and particular view on Andrés Caicedo, perhaps one of the most accurate symbols of the dystopia involved in young artistic avant-garde groups.
