Someone to Hum With (2011)

This is the story of one night in the lives of five people in Israel. They never saw each other but still they meet once a week over the airwaves on a national radio show called 'Someone to Hum With'. They call themselves a family, the Hummers family. When speaking with the broadcaster, Beni Bashan, they open their hearts, share their troubles and passions. Then, choose a song and hum. No words necessary, just a compassionate melody. We meet them one after the other, deeper and deeper into the night and see them build together a bubble of solidarity to their lonesome night. When morning comes the bubble shatters, making room for another hectic day.
