Lord of this City (2011)

A boy in the medieval ages has the ability to read and write, which is very rare in his time. His literacy saves his life when he is captured by a neighboring village and is on the verge of execution. His life is changed through his encounter with a different culture, and because of this he is intensely confronted by the values, and ruler of his home town when he finally returns.
