Collision (2010)

'Collision' explores the power struggle between a man and a horse. The medium of stop motion allowed me to express the story using surreal metaphors for the behaviour of the characters, and to experiment with interesting textural effects. The man tries to curb the natural strength and beauty of the horse to reinforce his own feeling of dominance. However, this leads to mutual damage of the two, culminating in a permanent bond into a new, hybrid creature.
