Theodore Brand, thirty-three, and five foot eight, Not Herculean but not overweight. Brown hair, brown eyes, average looks, He wears conservative clothes and reads conservative books. He works for a company that produces red-string. And his job is to think of new uses for the thing. But like most, he searches for more, than this life he finds so bland. There must be more out there, he thinks, more for Theodore Brand.
