I never met the composer Nino Rota, but I did meet his nephew, Jean Blanchaert. One day Jean introduced me to Nino Rota's best friend, a 103 years old lady named Prudenzina. While listening to Prudenzina and Jean talking about Nino Rota, it came to my mind the idea of a journey... a journey in Italy to discover Nino Rota through the memories of people who knew him. I rented an old camping-car and I took the road with Jean following the footsteps of Nino Rota...
