The Barren Spring (2011)

The Barren Spring is an exploration of art and creativity; the drive to create, the need for self expression, and the interpersonal struggles within an artist's life. The film asks and seeks to answer: At what cost does the artist exist? Katherine is a writer struck with a sudden, inexplicable fever. As her husband takes care of her, Katherine's past, present and future converge, unraveling the source of her creativity, and the consequences of dedicating a life to creative expression.
