Der Pinguin Mann (2001)

He died on his 22nd expedition in the Antarctica and died where his happiness was secured - near a flock of emperor penguins in the eternal ice. He was not far away from the Russian research station Mirny: a Swiss man who called himself Bruno Penguin Zehnder. The fascinating reconstruction of the deadly trip to the cold South shows a photographer without compromise but a lot of passion for penguins. Through personal video materials from Zehnder one learns how familiar with these birds the man was - and so passionate that Zehnder carried the middle-name initial "P." (standing for "Penguin") around with him in his passport.
