Sightseers (2012)

We see a man behind a woman while having sex and the man is thrusting while she has her face in a plate of food and the man appears to be recording the sex; a dog licks the man's bare buttocks and the man shouts at the dog, kind of ruining the mood.

A man and a woman kiss passionately and recline in the back of a trailer; we hear sexual moaning as the trailer rocks back and forth and a group of people approaches the trailer, watching it shake back and forth.

A woman vigorously rubs under blankets as a man watches and asks her what she is doing; the woman replies that she is "finishing what he started" (she is masturbating, but the scenes cuts away after her line).

A woman rubs a man's upper thigh as she gets progressively closer to the man and he is visibly nervous; the woman asks the man to kiss her and he declines.

A man dances in front of a group of women at a bachelorette party while pulling off his clothing (we see his bare chest and back) and he appears to be wearing a g-string (he turns around and his bare buttocks are visible).

A woman looks through a series of photographs on a man's camera and finds a picture of a woman's genitals (we see the photo); she screams angrily, accusing her boyfriend of having an affair with the woman in the pictures, and then accuses the man of having an affair with a man in the photographs.

A woman tells a man that she is not wearing any underwear under her dress and then purposefully knocks over a knife and asks the man to retrieve it; the man touches the woman's leg and says, "I can't see anything" and the woman explains that she is wearing tights.

A woman tells a man that another man had asked to have sex with her (using four-letter words) and then use his shit as makeup.

Several very drunk women shout a series of crude sexual phrases loudly in a restaurant.

Two men discuss one of the men's sex lives with his girlfriend.

We see a man with a heavy branch striking another man repeatedly and continues until the man's face is caved in while a woman watches in horror, most of the blows are off screen but occasionally shots are seen of the branch brutally smashing the man's head. His head is then smashed off a rock with blood spurting and a gory crunch. We get a look at his face which is gruesomely caved in to the point he is hard to recognize.

We see a man smashing another man on the temple with a rock in slow motion; thick streams of blood spray from his temple and the man drags the body away.

A woman shoves another woman over a short fence above a cliff and the woman falls in slow motion, through the air, until her body hits the ground and her neck snaps. Her head hits are rock and smashes open gorily, blood and brain matter spray out.

A man has a vivid dream of a woman turning into a vampire and attacking his neck (we see blood on a massive wound on the man's neck and on the woman's teeth); we then see the man turn into a vampire or demon with a mouthful of monstrous teeth, attacking a woman (blood is visible on his mouth and a large wound is seen on the woman's neck).

A woman swerves off the road and runs over a jogger (we see the victim covered in blood and there's a drag line of blood behind the man).

A woman has a flashback of her dog impaling itself on a knitting needle; the dog yelps and appears stiff moments later as the woman's older mother yells (no blood is visible).

A woman pushes a man, resting inside a small bike-towed camper, over a cliff and we later see the smashed up trailer; it appears that the man's foot is visible in the rubble (we assume the man is dead).

A woman gets a splinter and we see her pull the bloody splinter from her foot (a drip of blood is seen on her foot).

About 17 uses of the word 'fuck' and its derivatives, 5 sexual references, 7 uses of 'shit' (and variations), 4 mild obscenities.

We see two men smoking marijuana.

We see a man drinking beer.

A woman appears to drink two bottles of wine.

A man stumbles home after drinking at a pub with an older man and he appears extremely intoxicated.

Two men and a woman cheer with wine.

A man implies to another man that he is always keen to smoke marijuana after he offers him a beer and the man declines.

A woman smokes a cigarette.

All of the scenes involving murder are intense. They are not played down in any way. They are brutal, realistic, gruesome and ugly. Though the film has strong elements of black comedy, these scenes are still very shocking and disturbing.

Also, viewers who are upset over scenes of animal violence will probably find the scene where a woman has a flashback of her dog impaling itself on a knitting needle hard to watch.
