Of Time and the Spirit (2007)

A meditation on the diverse and often magical world of a dancer reflecting upon her life in time and place. Mesmerizing and delicately nuanced, the dance of memory seems to grow as if through a chambered nautilus opening to the world. Created for the acclaimed dancer Nancy Colahan with a musical score by the eloquent composer Karen Tanaka, 'Of Time and the Spirit' takes us into the realm of performance as it interfaces with the poetry of the natural world and the inner life of the dancer.
