Awakening Dreams (2010)

Hamid's brother has been missing in action, presumed dead, for twenty-two years. Coming to terms with the loss, Hamid has now moved on and, as custom dictates, married his brother's widow. But his future happiness is cut abruptly short by the unexpected return of his brother from the frontline. With the local clergy decreeing that the second marriage be annulled, Hamid can only watch as the life he has strenuously built crumbles around him, and he is now faced with the question of what he will do to protect it.
