Rosa, named after the Marxist theorist and activist Rosa Luxemberg, struggles to deal with her overtly progressive mothers. When life couldn't seem to get any worse, Rosa is confronted by a family of refugees who move into her home. But when their forced interactions lead to a companionship, Rosa's political outlook is altered forever.
