The documentary short "scaffolding" records the completion of Alexandros Vasmoulakis' latest work of large-scale street art at Iroon Square in Psyrri. It is a non-conventional observation of the artist at work, who is rarely seen clearly in shot. In this unique public studio, open to the gaze and judgment of passers-by, director Euripides Laskaridis tries to capture Vasmoulakis' apprehension about the removal of the scaffolding. This piece of construction equipment becomes an indispensable tool in the hands of the artist, but at the same time prevents him from overseeing the work as a whole. On the day the scaffolding comes down, the need for quick corrections tests the artist's physical limits and creates unexpected suspense, unbeknown to the general public until now.
